Helping children with autism reach their full potential through expert neurological care

Autism or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition i.e. a developmental disability in the brain that affects how a child communicates and interacts with others.

Autism is a condition that affects brain development at a very early age, but symptoms are visible only when the child reaches around 1.5 to 3 years.

Evaluate your child for autism if you observe the following

  • Baby doesn't smile or makes inconsistent responses to their name by 6 months.
  • Baby doesn't babble, play simple games or use gestures by the age of 1 year.
  • Child doesn't say whole words by 16 months.
  • Child doesn't speak 2 word phrases by 24 months.
  • Loss of speech and ability to communicate.
  • Child follows certain routines very strictly or has very severe reactions to changes in routine.
  • Sensory aversions to loud sounds, picky eating, sensory picking behaviour like licking lips, looking out of the corner of the eye, etc.
  • If you observe any of the above symptoms, consult a pediatric neurologist immediately.
